The Sports team from the Joseph Whitaker Sports College contacted us requesting a site visit to discuss the proposed refurbishment of their existing 610 sqm Granwood Sports Floor.
The condition of the existing Granwood floor made our specification of a 2 colour Vinyl 9mm Eco Fit floor with socketed games posts and painted lines and college logos an easy choice.
During the site visit concerns were raised by the College over a small area of water damage and a slight level issue on a joint in the existing Granwood floor. We reassured the college that both issues would be addressed during our preparation process and would be included in our quotation
We recommended that the school contacted Nottingham High School to arrange a site visit to talk to the PE Staff and look at the Vinyl 9mm Eco-fit floor we installed last year.
It was very clear that Sports College is looking for a first-class installation with high visual impact and a high degree of player comfort.
Our knowledge and understanding of what’s required in a Sports Floor installation coupled with our ability to offer a complete package from the subfloor right through to the line marking has won us this contract
