We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract to refurbish a timber sports floor that will be used by Wasps Netball at the Ricoh Arena.
Following an initial inspection of the surface, a decision was made to sand the whole area to provide a smooth flat surface. Our understanding of the traction required by the Vitality Netball Superleague teams made the choice of floor finish very simple, we specified a Junckers HP Sport.
The sanding, sealing and line marking process will be completed on-site at the Ricoh Arena using our dust-free sanding equipment.
We will be installing International standard socketed netball posts into the existing sub-floor, access will be made in the timber floor through Junckers Bushing Covers.
Bespoke ramp edges around the whole perimeter will be manufactured here in our workshop and installed on-site to ensure a safe transition to the surrounding court area.
The finished floor will be a portable option that will be installed for high-level games at the Ricoh Arena.
